High Performance Technical Computing through Cloud Infrastructure Services
This paper will target the two relevant areas: Firstly, How the infrastructure as a service (IaaS) provided by the cloud service provider can be utilized for executing massive scientific and numerical applications, used in computational fluid dynamics, structural (stress) and thermal analysis of material, simulations, seismic tomography etc. Secondly, Externalized aspect of a cloud model increased the level of risk for security of such experimental data.
